This weekend I installed a Power Commander on my motorcycle and it’s awesome. Took me a while to take everything apart, had to remove the rear seat, front seat, tail fairing, steering dampener, gas tank, and air box. Then I had to route these fat plugs all the way through the body to get up under the air box. All in all, it took a couple hours to finish, but all for the better. Since I did the work in front of Deaftone’s apartment, there were a lot of passersby that commented on my bike; one even stopped to ask me a bunch of questions and watch me work. So I put him to work when I needed another set of hands. Thanks for your help random boy in Boston.

Anyway, final thoughts on the matter is that I need to get new tires… bad. Front brakes work amazing. Rear brakes are great too, but, this whole shitty rear tire thing doesn’t cut it. I’m tempted to get one now… but the riding season is all but over. So there’s no rush for me. I just need to change the cooling water out for anti-freeze coolant. Then it’ll be prepped for winter and I can take it home to be garaged till spring. Then it’s back to driving my truck. I can’t wait for spring…
